This challah board is designed and produced by the Jerusalem artist Yair Emanuel. Emanuel's designs are based on the combination of the classic traditional motifs, and the modern and Oriental. This "new old" challah board design is made of acacia wood and laser-cut stainless steel. This challah board is decorated with pomegranates in various shapes. In Jewish tradition pomegranates are a symbol of blessing and abundance. Inside the pomegranates is the Hebrew text "In honor of Shabbat and Yom Tov".
